If you use the optional GIF search in the story editor, your search terms are sent to GIPHY. We require these service providers to protect your data and to use it only to provide their services to us.
The following information is visible to other users: username, display name, profile photo, bio, public posts, stories, comments, pet profiles (if your account is public), business profiles, veterinary listings, product listings, and reviews.
Emergency pet reports may be shared with local animal welfare organizations based on your location, and with other app users in the vicinity for missing pet alerts.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dierend, our users, or the public.

You can permanently delete your account from Settings > Delete Account in the app, or via our web form at dierend.com/delete-account (which confirms your request by email). Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. When you delete your account, we:
Some records are retained where we are legally required or permitted to do so: order and purchase records are kept for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes (up to 7 years), and emergency or missing-pet reports may be retained for public-safety purposes. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play must also be cancelled through your store account to stop future billing.

California residents may request disclosure of personal information collected, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal data.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Dierend account. Dierend is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@dierend.com.
If you indicate during registration that you are under 18 years of age, Dierend requires verifiable parental or guardian consent before your account is activated. The process works as follows:
